Giving Thanks and Celebrating a New Beginning
Happy Thanksgiving! Today, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and share some exciting news: my Hugo-powered website is officially live.
A Heart Full of Thanks
First and foremost, I give thanks to God, whose blessings make everything possible. I’m grateful for my family, friends, coworkers, and the many incredible people who contribute to the internet. Without their creativity, knowledge, and contributions, we wouldn’t have this majestic, interconnected world.
The Site Is Live!
After days of learning, tinkering, and creating, the site is finally live. It’s far from complete—I still need to add portfolio pages and a few other features—but it’s a solid starting point.
I won’t be posting daily moving forward. Instead, I plan to share updates on a weekly basis as I build, learn, and expand this project.
What’s Next?
There’s still plenty of work to do:
- Portfolio Pages: I’ll be adding pages to showcase my web projects.
- Automation with Hugo: I plan to implement
rsync
to streamline publishing, making it easier to update and maintain the site. - Work Projects: I’ll be documenting how I use Hugo for other projects, including automating workflows with tools like Zapier.
The potential for this platform is immense, and I’m excited to see how it evolves—not just for this site but for future projects as well.
A Grateful Journey
This has been an incredible journey, one filled with challenges, learning, and growth. I’m thankful for the opportunity to share it with you and for the support of everyone who’s been a part of it, directly or indirectly.
Here’s to a future of building, creating, and sharing. Thank you for joining me on this adventure. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
