Hi, I’m EJ.
Originally from Puerto Rico, I’ve spent different chapters of my life living throughout the East Coast, including New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Today, I call Pilot Point, Texas home.
I’ve always been curious about how things work. Sometimes that curiosity leads me toward technology and coding.
Other times it leads me down a country road with a camera in hand, into a small town I’ve never visited, or into a conversation with someone whose story deserves to be heard.
My faith has always played an important role in how I see the world. It reminds me to stay grateful, keep learning, serve others, and appreciate the everyday blessings that are easy to overlook.
The name Pointeneer is a combination of Pilot Point and pioneer. It reflects both the place I call home and a mindset I’ve carried most of my life: a desire to explore, learn, build, and keep moving forward. Add a little Gen X attitude and you have a pretty good description of this blog.
Over the years I’ve collected a lot of interests. Photography, technology, local history, fishing, retro games, community events, and the stories that make every town unique. They may seem unrelated, but they all come from the same place: curiosity.

When I’m not working on websites or technology projects, you’ll often find me with a camera in hand, exploring Pilot Point and the surrounding communities, spending a few quiet hours fishing, serving at Midway Church, or working on one of the many projects I’ve convinced myself will only take a weekend.
This blog is where those interests come together. It’s a collection of photos, observations, projects, opinions, and experiences from someone who still enjoys learning new things and sharing what he discovers along the way.
Thanks for stopping by.
Coding. Capturing. Exploring.
